Product Care Cushions and Cushion Covers To extend the life of your covers and foam, rotate and vacuum cushions every week. Professional upholstery cleaning is recommended for cushions and cushion covers. For all cushions, the covers should be left on the foam for cleaning to preserve the cushion’s shape and size. Cleaning Codes: WS - For water based stains use water based cleaning agent. For oil based stains use solvent cleaner. W - Clean with water based cleaning agent. S - Clean with solvent based cleaning agent. Vinyl Care: EZ and Rogue Vinyl Cleaning Step 1: For light soiling, a solution of 10% household liquid.   Step 2: For heavy soiling, dampen a soft white cloth with a one to one (1:1) solution of Fantastick™®/water or Formula 409®/water.  Rub gently. Rinse with a water dampened cloth.   Step 3: For more difficult stains, dampen a soft white cloth with a solution of household bleach (10% bleach/90% water).  Rub gently.  Rinse with a water dampened cloth to remove bleach concentration.  Do not use with alcohol-based cleaning agents! Just use mild soap and water. For more stubborn stains, a variety of concentrated and solvent type cleansers may be used with out damaging the surface. Including alcohol, naphtha and bleach. (Abrasive household cleansers and steel wool should be avoided - see the cleaning guide for complete care and cleaning procedures.)   Antimicrobial PERMABLOK3®offers unsurpassed antimicrobial protection by resisting gram positive and gram negative bacteria, filamentous fungi and yeast.   Colors and Patterns This End Up offers PERMABLOK3® vinyls in an array of elegant textures and innovative patterns. And in addition to fighting germs, abrasion and stains, all incorporate outstanding flame-resistant additives that meet or surpass many major U.S. flammability codes.   Care and Cleaning Vinyl fabrics treated with PERMABLOK3® require a minimum of maintenance to retain their good looks. Everyday soil can usually be removed using a soft cloth or sponge with mild soap and water. Spills and accidents require immediate attention for best results. In many cases, stains such as coffee, tea, cocoa, ketchup and blood, may be cleaned simply with warm water alone. If the stain is allowed to set, more concentrated cleaners may be required. Generally speaking, always start with the mildest cleaning agents first. Never use harsh powdered abrasive cleansers or steel wool.   The cleaning guide covers many of the most common staining agents. During independent laboratory testing, many were allowed to stand on PERMABLOK3®fabrics for up to 40 hours with excellent cleaning results.   Cleaning Guide   Step 1 Grease                       Crayon Black Felt Tip Pen      Chocolate          Suntan Lotion    Step 2 Red Lipstick Step 3      Blood, Urine, Feces       Oil Base Paint, Tar, Asphalt Step 4 or 5*   Other Tough Stains        Step 1: Remove excess spill with damp cloth. Clean with 1:1 mix of Ivory® liquid and water. Rinse with clean water and dry.   Step 2: Use straight application of concentrated cleaners such as Formula 409® or Fantastik® Spray Cleaner. Then wipe with clean cloth.   Step 3: Use a 1:1 mix of ammonia and water or a 1:4 mix of bleach and water. Rinse with clean water and dry.   Step 4: Use straight application of naphtha (lighter fluid). Rinse thoroughly with clean water and pat surface dry.   Step 5: Use 1:1 mix of isopropyl alcohol and water. If stain persists, use straight alcohol. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and pat surface dry. If stains remain, use a 1:1 mix of acetone and water. Rinse with clean water and pat surface dry.   *Note: For cleaning that requires steps 4 or 5 - use a soft cotton cloth saturated with the cleaning material, rub the stain in circles 10 times.
